Facebook Events Importer v4.2 – The Events Calendar Addon

Facebook Events Importer v4.2.0 – The Events Calendar Addon – Easily import events from your Facebook account.

More and more folks are using Facebook to plan events. With the Facebook Events add-on, you can tap into the growing number of events Facebook users are organizing by importing public events directly into your WordPress site.

Basic event data along with venue and organizer are populated appropriately. No more entering information in two places, or having to recreate someone else’s listing for a public event you want to include on your WordPress calendar. You can import events from Facebook pages one by one or automatically on a schedule. Events created on a Facebook user’s Personal page or groups can be imported manually via the event ID.

Need more information on Facebook Events? If you have questions, please post a thread in our open Pre-Sales Forum and we’d be happy to help out.

Please note: This plugin requires a Facebook App ID and App Secret to work. You’ll need to register with Facebook to get these credentials prior to using the plugin.

Please also note: You may not be able to import events that Facebook deems adult in nature, including breweries, bars, night clubs, and adult entertainment. The Facebook API dictates that only public, unrestricted events are importable at this time.

Special thanks to Mark Nelson for his inspiration with the Sync Facebook Events plugin.
